A man in his 40s has died after a wall collapsed on him during a private home renovation in Manchester. Greater Manchester police and ambulance services attended the scene in Fallowfield where the man was pronounced dead. The Health and Safety Executive (HSE), Britain’s national regulator for workplace safety, confirmed they are making initial inquiries into the incident. The HSE has the authority to launch an official investigation if malpractice is suspected.
