The BCC line- ICO guidance issued

According to the UK’s General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), educational institutions must be mindful when using personal data in mass communications to avoid jeopardising students’ privacy rights. The Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) emphasises that alternative methods to blind carbon copy (BCC) emails, known to frequently cause data breaches, should be considered. They specifically recommend secure mail providers like Google, Microsoft, and Egress.
