PoC Exploit Released for Critical VMware Aria’s SSH Auth Bypass Vulnerability

Proof-of-concept (PoC) exploit code is available for a critical flaw in VMware Aria Operations (previously vRealize Network Insight). The flaw is due to authentication bypass from a lack of unique cryptographic key generation, allowing malicious actors to access Aria Operations. A second vulnerability could also allow adversaries to write files to arbitrary locations. If not rectified, these flaws can allow a threat actor to obtain admin access and run arbitrary payloads.
