Greater Manchester Police (GMP) officers and staff have been targeted in a ransomware attack that compromised identities, names, and photos. The data breach, which was carried out against GMP’s ID badge supplier, didn’t include home addresses or financial details. An internal GMP staff email said none of the compromised data has been posted online. The National Crime Agency and the Information Commissioners Office are investigating the incident.
