Global companies to hike security spending as threats rise – survey

Almost half of security chiefs at large global companies are expected to increase their security budgets significantly over the next year. This is due to an increase in theft, fraud, and leaks driven by economic and social unrest. A survey discovered that over $1 trillion was lost in 2022 due to non-cyber security incidents. These losses include high-end goods and intellectual property, with North America being highly affected.
