Global companies to hike security spending as threats rise, ET Telecom

Security heads at major global firms anticipate significant budget increases over the next year, driven by social unrest, economic uncertainty, and a rise in theft, fraud, and information breaches, according to an Allied Universal survey. In 2022, non-cyber security incidents cost the surveyed companies over $1tn. Responses also indicated a focus on investing in AI and AI-powered surveillance for faster threat detection.
